Under the boiling spotlights of IFA 2025 in Berlin, Aiper unveiled its latest gem, the Scuba V3 pool robot. We had the opportunity to check the effectiveness of these robots during our recent tests, like the very recent one of the Scuba X1. But this little machine could go even further, thanks to the integration this time of artificial intelligence. We were able to discuss with brand representatives at the show, who also offered us a demonstration of their new model.

A concentrated technology as light as a feather

No question here of dragging a behemoth: the Scuba V3 weighs barely 7.5 kg on the scale. You can grab it with one hand. Even better, it benefits from a quick drainage system: hop, a puff of air, all the water comes out, and it is ready to be stored in its corner of the technical room. An important point for the manufacturer, as many pool robots are far too heavy.

An intelligence of another level: long live vision AI!

Here, we are not talking about a vague anti-shock sensor, but rather a front camera coupled with ToF sensors (to measure distance and detect obstacles). This robot literally “sees” what is lying at the bottom of the pool: leaves, sand, lost toys… It identifies over 20 types of debris, down to small pebbles or fragments of 2 cm. A particularly dirty area? The Scuba V3 activates its “dirt hunting” mode that first targets dirt nests before ensuring total coverage of the pool. The result? No more time wasted going over the same spot ten times… and immaculate corners where, usually, you have to take out the brush by hand (and end up soaked up to your calves).

Here, the obstacle avoidance technology works continuously. Collisions become a distant memory and even the most inaccessible areas are thoroughly cleaned. No need to supervise the beast… You can really go about your business and enjoy your homemade Mojito.

Cleans everything… up to the waterline!

The real headache for pool owners is the infamous waterline: greasy marks, sunscreen, deposits that cling to the liner… The Scuba V3 works magic. Thanks to its unique jet motor and JetAssist™ technology, it clings to the waterline, cleaning at 1.5 m/s for 30 seconds without faltering. Bye bye suspicious marks: the result is flawless, just like on the first day.

MicroMesh: high-performance filtration for the tiniest impurities

Over time, one sometimes has the impression that all robots are similar when it comes to filtration. Here, Aiper stands out. The Scuba V3 relies on a 3.7-liter basket capable of catching larger debris, coupled with an ultra-fine filter (3 microns): no more invisible microorganisms that cloud the water despite many chemical treatments. Emptying and cleaning become (almost) fun tasks: everything is accessible, nothing overflows, and hop, the job is done.

True autonomy, at last!

No stress at the end of the battery: with 180 minutes of autonomy, the robot confidently covers up to 150 m² of surface, without faltering. At the end of the session, it gently returns to the edge to be retrieved, water drained, ready to recharge on its wireless station.

The sneakiest: Patrol mode, for continuous monitoring

Imagine: it makes its rounds every few days, just where it’s needed, and stops as soon as the pool regains its perfect cleanliness. Thanks to its AI, it quickly analyzes the situation, spots what’s wrong, and cleans in a flash. The result: energy consumption is reduced, maintenance becomes discreet and almost invisible. Two significant advantages: the motor lasts longer and you almost forget that you still have to “manage” a robot.

Respect for privacy: nothing is stored, everything is secure

Well done at Aiper: no images saved, no transmission to the cloud, the AI only does its cleaning job, without sharing anything with the outside world. A reassuring argument, at a time when we invite more and more smart objects around the pool.

A truly “plug and play” robot

Activation is super easy: a long press to start, a simple click to change mode, and off you go. All indications remain visible even in bright sunlight, and recharging is done without any complicated connections. Those who fear any overly thick manual can rest assured: everything runs smoothly, and the handling is immediate.

Mobile app and effortless updates

The Scuba V3 goes even further with its dedicated app. Real-time tracking, diagnostics, OTA updates… You benefit from a device that is always optimized, whether you are by the pool or on the terrace miles away from the technical room. No need to be a geek or a seasoned handyman, it’s the robot that takes care of everything, even its own software maintenance.

The Scuba V3 will be available at the beginning of 2026 at a price of €1099.
