We spotted Mammotion at CES 2026 with a truly impressive product, and here it is taking action. The manufacturer is officially launching its Kickstarter campaign for the Spino S1 Pro, a next-generation pool robot designed to operate… with almost no human intervention.
The launch started yesterday, with particularly aggressive offers for the first contributors. And clearly, that’s where it gets interesting.
It is indeed possible to get up to $1000 off for VIP members, making it a price around $1499 instead of $2499. You could say that the early birds will be the most rewarded!
Very attractive Kickstarter offers for early adopters
Mammotion is leveraging crowdfunding with several levels of discounts, in order to create a real sense of urgency.
The first units are offered in Super Early Bird at $1699, then in Early Bird at $1999.
And as often happens on Kickstarter, the longer you wait, the higher the price goes…
A pool robot that gets out of the water by itself: finally
This is clearly THE feature that changes everything.
The Spino S1 Pro incorporates a system called AutoShoreCharge™, which allows it to automatically exit the pool to recharge. Yes, by itself. And when you have already handled a water-filled pool robot, you immediately understand the benefit.

Concretely, once its cycle is complete or its battery is low, the robot climbs up the wall, aligns itself with a robotic arm, then hoists itself out of the water to reach its station. All this without human intervention, even in complex pools.
We are clearly on a “zero hassle” approach. And that, for a product like a pool robot, is a real game changer.
Intelligent navigation and optimized cleaning thanks to AI
Another interesting point: Mammotion hasn’t just added a robotic arm. The Spino S1 Pro also features an intelligent vision system called ZonePilot™.
This system combines cameras, TOF sensors, and motion sensors to analyze the pool in real-time. As a result, the robot adapts its path, avoids unnecessary repetition in the same areas, and focuses where there are real dirt.
It is capable of cleaning:
- the bottom
- the walls
- the waterline
With a suction power rated up to 6800 GPH, placing it among the top tier for this type of device.

A robot designed for truly “hands-free” use
What stands out from this announcement is Mammotion’s desire to simplify usage as much as possible.
With the automatic exit from the water, autonomous recharging, and intelligent navigation, the goal is clear: to eliminate all the usual constraints associated with pool robots.
And honestly, that’s exactly what we expect from this type of product today. We no longer want just a robot that vacuums… we want a robot that manages everything.

A more accessible alternative with the Spino S1
For those looking to equip themselves without going for the Pro model, Mammotion also offers a more standard version: the Spino S1.
This one does not have the automatic exit system but will be offered at a much softer price during the campaign, around $899 instead of $1299.
An interesting option for those who want an intelligent robot without necessarily seeking a “fully automated” approach.
Availability and deliveries
The Kickstarter campaign is expected to last about 30 days, with first deliveries announced for November.
As always with crowdfunding, it is important to keep in mind that there is a degree of risk (delays, adjustments…), even if Mammotion is already a well-established player in the outdoor robotics market.
What we think after seeing it at CES
During its presentation at CES, the Spino S1 Pro was clearly one of the standout products. Not just for its design, but especially for its approach.
The fact that it completely eliminates the handling of the robot after use changes the experience entirely. We move from a “constraining but useful” device to a truly autonomous piece of equipment.
If the promises hold true in real conditions, Mammotion could well shake up a market that has been evolving quite slowly for years.
Now we just have to see the first field feedback… but clearly, this Kickstarter campaign deserves close attention!
