There are mornings when you wish the house could clean itself, especially after a family breakfast that looks like a battlefield or a cooking session worthy of a television competition. Dreame, which continuously shakes up the market for vacuum mops, is back with a model that promises to elevate the chore of floor cleaning to the level of a distant memory: the Dreame H15 Pro Heat. A catchy name, a simple promise – wash with hot water, just like you would by hand, but without breaking your back – and a technical sheet that makes you want to dig out the crumbs and the toughest stains to put it to the test.
We know that, through its numerous models over the years, the brand Dreame has made a name for itself in homes that value cleanliness without compromise, and this H15 Pro Heat intends to push the boundaries of the genre. With well-thought-out innovations, redesigned ergonomics, and record power, the latest arrival from the Chinese manufacturer wants to establish itself as the new essential for all those tired of juggling mops, vacuum cleaners, and miracle products. But is that really the case?
Unboxing the Dreame H15 Pro Heat: a concentrate of technology ready for action
The packaging clearly announces its intentions, with the term “Heat” and the promised 90°C. This is the brand's first model to heat water, and the manufacturer certainly wants to highlight it.

Opening the box of the Dreame H15 Pro Heat is a bit like unboxing a gadget straight out of a science fiction movie. The design is neat, modern, and the finish inspires confidence.

Deep black, taut lines, a few touches of metallic gray, and a build that impresses: 6 kg on the scale, this is not a lightweight, but nothing scary for such a complete device. It looks sturdy, ready to tackle dust and the most stubborn stains.

The contents of the box are generous: the main body, two tanks (clean water of 0.8 L, dirty water of 0.65 L), the charging and cleaning base, cleaning accessories, a spare roller, and even a cleaning solution compatible with hardwood floors.

The base, slightly elevated, serves as both a charging station and automatic maintenance center.

The Dreame H15 Pro Heat immediately displays its high-end ambitions. It stands out with its AI DescendReach robotic arm, capable of lowering to clean along baseboards and into corners, where competitors often leave a gap of 1 to 2 cm.

Here, Dreame promises edge-to-edge cleaning, zero water marks, and a brush that is unbothered by hair or pet fur thanks to an anti-tangle comb.

It’s worth noting the absence of a front LED light, a detail that might be regretted compared to the previous generation, especially when cleaning under furniture or in dark corners.

The clean water tank is slightly smaller than some competitors', but the trade-off is a slimmer device, capable of fitting under most furniture thanks to a 180° tilt and only 14 cm in height.

Setup and discovery: intuitive handling and plenty of options
On first startup, the Dreame H15 Pro Heat shows itself to be docile. The tanks clip on and off easily, the roller installs without hassle, and the base station takes care of everything else: charging, automatic cleaning of the brush with hot water (up to 100°C!), and quick drying at 90°C to avoid unpleasant odors and bacteria proliferation. You can tell that Dreame has worked on ergonomics.

As for the controls, everything is on the handle: mode selection (suction only, smart mode, turbo mode, hot water mode), battery level display, and reservoir filling indicator.

The smart mode automatically adjusts suction power and water amount based on the level of dirt detected by an ultra-sensitive RGB sensor. Convenient, as you no longer have to question: just move forward, and the Dreame H15 Pro Heat adapts.

The GlideWheel™ system facilitates handling, with forward and backward self-propulsion that makes you forget the weight of the beast, even on large surfaces or thick carpets. The device literally glides over the floor, and it stands up by itself at the end of the cleaning. We also appreciate the ability to lay it flat to fit under low furniture, a real plus for cleaning enthusiasts.

However, a small downside: the detergent dosing is no longer automatic, so you need to manually pour the dose into the clean water tank. Nothing dramatic, but it takes away a bit of convenience from the whole, especially after getting used to automation.
Usage feedback: heat, power, and precision at the service of cleanliness
Let’s get serious: daily cleaning. From the first few meters, the Dreame H15 Pro Heat impresses with its suction power (22,000 Pa!), surpassing most direct competitors. Fine dust, crumbs of bread, pet hair, everything disappears effortlessly, even on short pile carpets. The liquid suction mode is stunning: spilled a glass of water in the kitchen? In two passes, nothing left, not even a trace of moisture.
The real highlight is the hot water mode. Thanks to ThermoRinse technology, the water comes out at 85°C and the brush reaches 55°C upon contact with the floor. The result: greasy or embedded stains, especially in the kitchen or under the dining table, literally dissolve. Verified with a thermal camera, you can see it heating up at the brush level!

I tested it on an old tomato sauce stain that was left behind (thanks kids!), and in just one pass, the floor was spotless. The same goes for muddy footprints in the entryway after a rainy outing: the heat makes a difference, and there are no residual water marks, thanks to the retractable squeegee.
The robotic arm GapFree is formidable for baseboards and corners. Gone are the strips of dust that accumulate along the walls, the Dreame H15 Pro Heat really goes all the way, leaving no gaps. The edges are clean, and the brush's triple edge ensures maximum coverage, even in the most stubborn corners.

With three women in the house, the anti-tangle comb is also a valuable ally!
The battery life is also impressive: in smart mode, I was able to clean 120 m² on a single charge, without needing to recharge or empty the tanks. Naturally, in hot water mode, the autonomy drops (count on 20 minutes), but this mode is reserved for tough stains, so it's not a hassle.
In silent mode, the autonomy goes up to 70 minutes, or around 520 m² cleaned!
Filling and draining the bins is simple, and the separation of solids and liquids avoids unpleasant surprises (no more crumbs stuck in the pipe).
As for maintenance, it’s royal: just place the device back on its base, press a button, and the station takes care of everything. Hot water washing, quick drying, and the brush comes out clean, dry, and odor-free. You can forget about the chore of cleaning the roller, and that’s a true blessing for those who don’t want to waste time maintaining their vacuum mop.

Of course, not everything is perfect. The Dreame H15 Pro Heat doesn’t handle large debris too well: a broken eggshell or large pieces require several passes, as the squeegee tends to push the larger bits rather than suck them up. This isn’t dramatic, but it’s better to sweep up first if your kids turn the kitchen into a construction site. Another detail, a full battery charge takes just over two hours, so it’s better to plan ahead if you’re expecting a major cleaning session. Finally, the cleaning and drying part of the brush doesn’t go unnoticed. A quick mode performs the maintenance in 5 minutes but is noisy (75dB measured at 1m). Fortunately, a “silent” mode is significantly quieter but will last thirty minutes instead.

Control your vacuum mop with your smartphone!
Like the latest models from the brand, the Dreame H15 Pro Heat can be paired with the manufacturer's mobile app. Notably, to change the language (the device thus provides oral information when the dirty water tank is full or the clean water tank is empty), or to track the wear status of components. It is also possible to adjust the cleaning and water heating settings.

But this time Dreame has gone a step further: it's now possible to take control of the device to have it clean under the bed or the sofa, for example.

You just need to lay the H15 Pro Heat completely flat and control the device from your smartphone to make it move back and forth.
Summary: a vacuum mop that sets the bar very high
The Dreame H15 Pro Heat checks almost all the boxes of high-end: power, efficiency, autonomy, automated maintenance, and above all, a real advantage with hot water cleaning. It’s not perfect (absence of LED, manual detergent dosing, slightly small clean water tank for cleaning enthusiasts), but it stands out as a formidable ally for keeping floors spotless, even in a lively household. With three kids and a dog, it has certainly been tested under challenging conditions!
At €699, its high price clearly reserves it for larger areas or demanding households, but if you are looking for a device that truly makes a difference in daily life, it is an investment that justifies itself. To my knowledge, it is the most complete model on the market today!
