As we have seen through our numerous tests, domestic solar energy is experiencing rapid growth in Europe. Between the rising electricity prices, the desire to reduce dependence on the grid, and the democratization of photovoltaic panels, more and more households are looking for solutions to better manage and store their energy production.

It is precisely in this context that Jackery announces the arrival of its new generation of domestic storage systems: the SolarVault 3 series. Designed to maximize solar self-consumption and improve the energy independence of households, this solution emphasizes performance, energy intelligence, and ease of installation.

Pre-orders for the SolarVault 3 series are open in France until April 8, 2026, with particular attention given to the SolarVault 3 Pro Max model, aimed at households with higher energy needs.

SolarVault 3 Pro Max: maximizing solar production and self-consumption

At the heart of this new range is the SolarVault 3 Pro Max, a system designed to make the most of the solar energy produced by a domestic installation.

One of the key points of the system lies in its ability to efficiently manage photovoltaic production. The SolarVault 3 Pro Max accepts up to 4000 W of solar input, spread across four independent MPPT trackers. This allows optimization of production even when the panels are oriented differently or subjected to partial shading. Under favorable conditions, the system can produce up to 4,800 kWh of solar energy per year, transforming a simple balcony or roof into a true mini home power plant.

On the storage side, the solution is designed to evolve with the needs of the household. The capacity can be extended from 2.52 kWh to 15.12 kWh by adding additional battery modules. The energy produced during the day can thus be stored for use in the evening or during peak consumption periods.

For larger houses or greater energy needs, in the future, multiple units can operate together. Up to three SolarVault 3 Pro Max systems can be used in parallel, allowing for 12 kW of solar input, 45.36 kWh of storage, and 7,500 W of power fed back into the grid.

In standard operation, the system provides 2500 W of power on the grid output, which allows powering energy-intensive devices such as a washing machine, a dishwasher, or air conditioning. In the event of a power outage, the system can also provide up to 2500 W of backup power, ensuring essential household equipment remains powered.

Intelligent energy management with AI

Beyond storage capacity, one of the most interesting aspects of this new generation lies in its energy management system powered by artificial intelligence.

The SolarVault 3 constantly analyzes several parameters: solar production, household consumption, battery charge state, and electricity prices. Thanks to this analysis, the system automatically adjusts its operation to reduce energy costs.

The system can, for example, take advantage of dynamic electricity tariffs offered by platforms like Nordpool or Tibber, as well as by over 800 European energy suppliers. The battery can thus charge when electricity is cheapest and release energy during high tariff periods.

An intelligent mode also allows for predicting solar production and household consumption, in order to automatically optimize energy use. The goal is simple: to maximize solar self-consumption while minimizing dependence on the grid.

The system can also integrate into a broader home automation environment. When combined with a smart meter or meter reader, it can track the household’s energy consumption in real time. Up to four connected sockets can be added to directly control certain energy-intensive devices.

Good news for smart home enthusiasts: SolarVault 3 is compatible with Home Assistant, allowing for energy flow visualization and integrating energy management into a broader home automation ecosystem.

Safety, reliability, and simplified installation

The SolarVault 3 series has been designed to operate reliably over the long term, even in harsh weather conditions.

The system operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 55°C and is certified IP65, ensuring protection against dust and water splashes.

Safety has also been particularly well addressed. The SolarVault 3 Pro Max features permanent monitoring of the temperature of photovoltaic and grid connections, capable of detecting any thermal anomaly. In a critical situation, an internal aerosol extinguishing system can automatically trigger to prevent any fire risk.

The battery also uses LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells known for their stability and longevity. The system has undergone more than 1,000 reliability tests and integrates over 100 protection mechanisms.

Jackery announces an estimated lifespan of 15 years, accompanied by a 10-year warranty.

One of the most appreciated aspects remains the simplicity of installation. The SolarVault 3 has been designed as a plug-and-play system, requiring only three cables and about five minutes of installation. No drilling or permanent installation is necessary, making it suitable for both houses and apartments or rental properties.

The system is also discreet in daily use, with a noise level of less than 30 dB, and can be controlled via a mobile app offering real-time tracking, solar forecasts, and energy-saving modes. Even without an internet connection, control remains possible via Bluetooth.

SolarVault 3 Pre-orders: official launch on March 25

The Jackery SolarVault 3 series will be available for pre-order in France from March 25 to April 8, 2026.

The SolarVault 3 Pro Max model, which constitutes the most complete version of the range, will benefit from launch offers including early-bird advantages, notably a €50 coupon as well as free accessories.
