With the Scuba V3, Aiper is leveraging AI to fully automate pool maintenance

As the swimming pool season approaches, Aiper unveils its new wireless cleaner robot Scuba V3, a model that introduces a new generation of devices driven by artificial intelligence. The manufacturer, already well-established in this market and whom we encountered at the last CES 2026, focuses here on advanced automation to simplify the daily maintenance of pools.

The goal is clear: to offer a robot capable of automatically adapting its operation to each pool, while minimizing user intervention as much as possible. The Scuba V3 is now available at a launch price of €999 instead of €1,099 on Aiper’s official site and on Amazon, before arriving soon at retailers like Desjoyaux, Boulanger, or Darty.

A pool robot powered by artificial intelligence

With the Scuba V3, Aiper introduces what it calls a cognitive artificial intelligence applied to pool cleaning. The idea is to enable the robot to understand the pool environment and automatically adjust its behavior.

The robot analyzes different parameters to adapt its work: the size of the pool, its shape, the history of cleaning cycles, and even weather conditions. All this data allows for automatic generation of a weekly cleaning schedule through the Navium mode, directly from the Aiper mobile app.

In practice, the user can simply input the characteristics of their pool into the app. The robot then optimizes the cleaning cycles to keep the water clean daily.

Another interesting function is AI Patrol Cleaning. The robot can detect areas with debris and immediately adjust its trajectory to prioritize them. According to the manufacturer, this system allows for cleaning that is up to 10 times faster and smarter, avoiding unnecessary passes in already clean areas.

To manage its movements, the Scuba V3 combines AI vision and dToF sensors with VisionPath technology. The robot plans its routes by avoiding obstacles and redundant paths.

A cleaning power designed for daily maintenance

Beyond the onboard intelligence, Aiper has also worked on the mechanical part of the robot.

The Scuba V3 features a horizontal cleaning system JetAssist that acts specifically on the waterline thanks to a unique pump and a side jet. This approach enables smooth and energy-efficient cleaning while improving effectiveness in the often dirtiest areas of the pool.

Two rotating brushes complement the set to dislodge debris stuck to the bottom or walls. The suction power reaches 4,800 gallons per hour, allowing it to suction leaves, small pebbles, or more stubborn dirt.

The filtration relies on a multi-layer MicroMesh system. It combines a main filter of 180 microns and an ultra-fine layer of 3 microns, capable of capturing very fine particles like sand or certain algae. The expected result is clearer water and more thorough cleaning of the pool.

A lighter robot that’s easier to retrieve

Pool robots can sometimes be effective… but not always pleasant to handle. Aiper has therefore worked on ergonomics.

The Scuba V3 weighs 8.2 kg, which is relatively light for this type of device. It can be operated with one hand and starts easily with a button.

The charging is done via a dedicated charging station, which avoids complicated handling after each cycle. Once the cleaning is finished, the robot automatically rises to the waterline for easy retrieval.

The mobile app also sends real-time alerts to notify when the cycle is complete or when intervention is required.

Another interesting point: data management. Aiper states that the images used for navigation remain stored directly on the robot, without transfer to an external server. Data protection is certified TÜV, a point that will reassure some users.

Availability and positioning of the Scuba V3

With this new model, Aiper clearly seeks to push the automation of pool maintenance further. The idea is to transform the robot into a true autonomous assistant capable of handling most cleaning tasks by itself.

The Scuba V3 is now available at a launch price of €999 (instead of €1,099) on the official brand website and on Amazon. It should also be offered in the coming weeks at several specialized distributors like Desjoyaux, as well as at general retail stores like Boulanger and Darty.

Aiper also indicates that it has more than 3 million users worldwide and is present in over 7,000 stores in more than 50 countries, confirming the rapid establishment of the brand in this highly competitive market.
